Kanye West – Yeezus
The views on this one are strongly conflicting. Either you love it or you hate it! It is certainly a very different type of album. The beats are not like any others being used by anybody else in the industry right now and Kanye is certainly outspoken with his lyrics.
J Cole – Born Sinner
This one is a solid follow up for Cole! Great beats and lyrical content with minimal skits. For those of you who know my stance on J Cole, it’s still just an average album. Not as bad as some of the other so called hip hop that is flooding the airwaves right now but not the best.
Jay-Z – Magna Carta Holy Grail
This one has good and bad…I think there is something for everyone on this album. Personally I got lost at the end of the album and my enjoyment factor plummeted. Jay enlisted some of the top producers in the game and made sure his lyrics were tight but like i said previously… something was lacking towards the end of the album.
In Conclusion, it’s really up to you, the fans to decide which one is the better album and support the artists. Use my comments section as a forum for debate if you wish and also feel free to post your comments on The Legal Dope Spot Fan Page on Facebook!!
