Doug G – The Rising Son (Album Review)

The Rising Son is an incredibly dope project!! Throughout the entire album the listener is reminded of simpler times when hip hop was about rhymes and lyrics over that boom bap production! I felt like a kid again…it felt like the 90’s!!
Doug G shows his versatility on this album quite nicely.
Doug Galiardo aka Doug G, is an independent Hip Hop artist from Huntington, NY. Combining hard hitting old school production with in depth and clever lyrics, there is no doubt that everybody can relate to this kind of music. Raw emotion, raw talent, and the capability to keep up with other artists in this genre Doug G wants to make a mark with his brand of Old School meets New School Sound.
