Jacob Laurent – All Faxx/Basquiat Freestyle

Puerto Rico born, Springfield raised emcee/songwriter/entrepreneur, Jacob Laurent, is really about to start making some noise on both the music and fashion scene. That is not to say he hasn’t been working a long time to establish his place on the scene. Jacob dropped an EP titled “Ashes” in 2015 and has been grinding ever since. 2018 saw the debut of his clothing line, 41Trey, which you can see in the visual above.

He is also the founder of Wise Hustlers Music Group, which is his own music imprint.

Jacob tells me he plans to drop ten singles, which will each be accompanied by a stunning visual, within the next nine months. 2 of those are featured here. After that, expect a full length project in the fall of 2020.

Omen44 – I Can See The Sun (ft. Skyzoo)

🚨🚨🚨New Music Alert🚨🚨🚨

Omen44 - I Can See The Sun

“I Can See The Sun” is the 1st single off Omen44’s forthcoming album “Hentai”, featuring Skyzoo the hardest working man in the business, who just recently dropped a project with Pete Rock.

Omen44 originally from Kobe/Japan, evolved into a seasoned and respected Hip Hop artist since claiming NY as home and placing his stake in the music scene. The quick buzz and notoriety from his music resulted in shared global stages and collaborations with the likes of such heavyweights as Sadat X, Craig G, Large Professor and more. 44 offers fans a lengthy catalog of albums, mixtapes, and EP’s all of which incorporate a mixture of sounds and beats from Jazz to Funk over his lyrical imagery.

Mayhem & Recognize Real – City Rises Up (ft. Skyzoo & Treva Holmes)

Boston bred rhyme vet Mayhem (of EMS) & buzzing Queens, NY producer Reckonize Real drop the video treatment for the Dions Cartoons animated “City Rises Up” featuring Brooklyn wordsmith Skyzoo & Boston R&B crooner Treva Holmes. The single can be found on Mayhem & Reckonize Real’s “Audio Murals” album featuring Skyzoo, Rapper Big Pooh & more AVAILABLE NOW on all streaming platforms!

Four Elements & Beyond – Truly Yours

Where do I even start with this… it was an email that I had ignored for a couple of days. I finally opened it this morning and to my delight I found the most refreshing hip hop sounds since 1996. Brush Stroke is a jazzy, be bop, type of lyrical manslaughter. Definitely give this a shot!

Ronnie Artist – Lesson 1

Ronnie is back! After a little time off, Ronnie Artist has brought his talents back to the booth and back to your playlist! This track has a classic Artist feel to it with bars to spare!! It’s safe to say I haven’t stopped listening since it dropped on Jul 21st. We all look forward to the rest of the summer, hoping for more from Ron.

Aristoteles – Hood Love

‘Hood Love’ is Aristoteles latest single and giving a taste of how his upcoming EP ‘Never Had’ is going to sound. The EP is due to come out in September 2020.

Aristoteles has toured with Los Angeles rapper Hopsin and opened for Hip Hop legends such as KRS-One and Freddy Gibbs. The rapper is scheduled to release at least a single every month before the EP drops, but for now, we have ‘Hood Love’  produced by dutch beat-smith Tiamo.

Blaksmif – Platforms X Trophies

The 413’s own Blaksmif dropped “Platforms X Trophies” in late April and it has been in my rotation since. Smif doesn’t disappoint with his wordplay and delivery as usual but what really makes this album come together is the production which is a tremendous credit to another 413 representative, Slime Po as well as The Syndicate, Averyonthebeat, and DarkoMusic.

Features include the likes of Fabeyon, Blaze Gee, Dtayls and several other respectable names.
